Morin, an Imperial soldier, finds himself thrust into what appears to be a World War I-era conflict, only to discover this world operates under vastly different rules. He must navigate this magically-altered conflict ironically proclaimed as "the war to end all wars," armed with bolt-action rifles against impossible odds, where airship battles rage overhead and the rules of warfare blend industrial-age tactics with arcane powers.
