The Guide Novel

Cha Ji-won is the director of Gallery Hwadam, a man whose outstanding abilities and handsome appearance make him seem perfect. However, he possesses a secret power: he can see ghosts and capture them by drawing their images. After dealing with a troublesome spirit, Ji-won is summoned to Jungcheon, the place where the dead are judged, for improperly handling a deceased person. There he meets Gaon, the head of Jungcheon. Initially drawn by curiosity toward this transcendent being who shows him no interest, Ji-won experiences a complex emotion akin to competitive spirit. Over time, his feelings evolve as he begins to see Gaon in a different light. The story follows two people as they navigate love and life within the world of the dead.
