The Demon's Sparrow Novel

River Sparrow and Daimen Princeston were once fellow high school seniors who occupied the same classrooms and hallways but lived entirely different lives. After graduation, they became strangers until fate reconnected them years later. River is conflict-averse and easily startled, yet maintains an optimistic outlook. Quiet and well-spoken, she's a devoted volunteer at the local animal shelter with a special affection for one particular dog. Daimen, by contrast, is quick to fight, physically imposing, and radiates an intimidating presence that makes people instinctively keep their distance. His reckless demeanor and fearsome reputation precede him everywhere. River reasonably fears him at first, but as she gradually learns more about the man everyone dreads, her perception shifts. Over time, her feelings deepen into something more profound. She finds herself hoping she hasn't fallen for someone capable of murder, yet she's willing to deny him nothing if it means offering the love he desperately needs.
