“So are you going tell me what happened or are you gonna lie about again?”
“Nothing happened” I replied with a neutral face but inside I was dying from excitement that ran through my veins due to Kristrin's words. Luckily inside the car was dark enough to hide my blush.
“I've always told you everything about me and all you've done is lie to me Anna?!”
“I've never lied to you before”
“Oh yah well thank you for pointing out that your a damn liar!”
“Fine! Kristrin told me he liked me, happy now?” what the heck was her problem?
She scowled “Of course not your the one who said you wanted to keep a low profile, isn't that going against your interdictions?”
“I told you shit would hit the roof if he saw you in that jersey” Steff smirked.
“Well so much for protecting me” I mocked.
“Well I did warn you”
“Unbelievable” Maria hissed from underneath her breath.
We were on our way to the after party but sadly we hadn't won the match, after Kristrin walked off the field his coach suspended him for a match so he could learn his lesson not to disobey his orders but I doubt it did anything.
We had lost the game by just one point but that was a lot better and showed we could win the state championship if we tried a bit harder.
Regina texted the whole school in a group chat that the party was still on and was now a welcome party for the knew addition to the football team.
We had quickly gone home where I changed my dress into a red off the shoulder dress that went just under my knee and was now on our way to Regina's house.
“Here we are” Steff spoke as our gaze found the window.
“Wow” I and Maria synchronized.
Regina's house was more of the one made for an egyptian princess, no wonder she was a queen bee, she must of thought herself as an American princess.
I would have never gone out to any party of that sort if Maria and Steffon hadn't dragged me along with them but the thought of seeing Kristrin again made me a little uneasy but excited at the same time.
“Is she a princess or something?” Maria asked.
“No but her parents are like filthy rich, that's why she takes pride in bringing others down” Steff answered then quickly added “Her parents are good religious people I doubt it they know about her sleeping around so much”
“I'd have definitely thought they were just a bunch of snubby rich people just like there daughter” I said as we came to a halt.
I could see cars scattered all over the fortress and loud music blaring through the roof of the mansion.
“I..I think I left something at home” I said rushing back to pull the door handle which was then suddenly locked.
“Stop being over dramatic, you'll love it” Steff replied as if he knew a lot about parties.
“But what if something terrible happening?”
“You don't have to worry about that, after what happened today I don't think anyone's foolish enough to let anything happen to you” he teased “Now that the school's craziest boy has staked a claim on you, your like the queen of Sheba someone definitely not to be touched”
I blushed not knowing what to say, did Kristrin really stake a claim on me today?
“Ugh guys the party let's go” Maria butted in, aggravation laced in her voice.
The moment the front door flew open I tried to make an run for it, key word tried. The stench of alcohol was so prominent mixed with sweaty disgusting teenagers humping and grinding against each other on the party floor.
“This place reeks” I gagged as some guys passed whistling while looking us up and down.
“Let’s get something to lighten your mood” Maria took my hand.
“But I don't drink”
“No one said you had to drink alcohol”
My eyes quickly took in my surroundings in hopes of spotting the one person I'd hoped to interact with here but all I saw we're a bunch of horny teenagers sucking faces.
I can't be that delirious, snap out of it Anna! Your here to party not flirt.
“Here drink this”
“What’s this?” I asked as Maria passed me a red liquid within a cup. I've seen how intemperate others could be with alcohol so I always made sure to stay far.
“It’s red bull mixed with apple juice”
“How do you know this” I inquired smelling the liquid.
“I use to go to parties back home, that was what they normally mixed, it's very popular, right Steff?”
“Yeah” Steff replied with a disgruntled look.
The fact that Steff knew what it was, was quite fine with me because he would never let anything happen to me....Well with Kristen being an exception as I had noted earlier.
I took a sip of the liquid, a very sweet yet slightly burning sensation going down my throat. In all my dull years of child growth this was the best drink I've ever tasted.
“Well it does taste great!” I said through the music as I quaff two cups as I go.
“Hey, take it easy” I heard Steff say.
“B..but I want m..more” I wined feeling very light-headed and free after drinking two and a half cups. I really need to drink more of this everyday!
“She’s actually having a great time Steff, don't ruin it for her”
“L..let's partyyyy!” I slurred feeling the best I've ever felt in my long years of living.
“Should have known she was a light weight” someone mumbled.
I made a dash for it heading to the dance floor but my hand had been grabbed by Maria “Wait Steffon could you run to the wash room and get a piece of wet cloth, I need to make sure she's ok first”
“Yeah I'll be right back” I thought I heard Steff say but my mind was too cloudy and I really wanted to dance.
What happened after that was a blur because all I knew was I was on the dance floor busting dance moves after moves while grinning off like an idiot.
“What the hell is she doing here?!” a very high pitched voice yelled over the music and I turned grinning when I saw who it was.
“Reginaaa woah look at youuu! L..looking like a pumkinnn!” I slurred giggling.
Woah why do my words sound so funnyyyy?
“It’s obvious the nerd’s drunk and needs to be escorted out” she said popping her pink fluffy looking lips and I giggled.
“T..that’s the f..first time i've ever seeeen youuu talk that sssmart” I finished but then a strange feeling rose to my throats, I quickly covered my mouth but that wasn't enough as it spewed right out all at once.
“Ahhhhhhhh!”
I giggled once more time after seeing Regina's angry and disgusted faced with vomit all over her.
“Now youuu l.look perfect” I giggled using my hands to smother it more on her.
“You stupid bitch!” she yelled.
“Woahhh take it easyyy or else people will hear youuu” I whispered covering my ears dramatically but I'm sure everyone knew because the music stopped playing and they were already recording.
I saw her hand raise as if it was about to hit me, but a hand from behind caught it instantly.
“Kristrin!” I yelled hugging the gorgeous boy behind me who was accompanied by Kyle and the twins.
“Kristrin look what that stupid bitch did to me!”
“Just get it cleaned up Regina problem solved” My baby said to her sternly while I played with his shirt ignoring there stupid conversation as he wasn't paying me much attention which I hated.
“Where’s McCollum?” Kristrin gritted now glaring down at me.
“I have no idea” I said now fully drained out from all the excitement.
In one swift move I was lifted up and now in his arms “You just can't seem to keep away from trouble can't you?” he said and I smiled.
“Only because I wanted to see you again” was the last thing I said before darkness took over.
