Alpha Joyce T Valdez, known as Jake, has always identified as attracted to women and lived a carefree lifestyle. Her world changes when she accepts a bet that forces her to join a basketball team. Through this arrangement, she meets Michael Jack H Avellano, grandson of the school's owner. Jack offers to pay Alpha in exchange for her participation on his team. As they spend time together, Alpha grows close to Jack and his friend group. Jack gradually develops romantic feelings for Alpha but struggles to accept his attraction to her tomboyish nature. His uncertainty shifts when he discovers that Loni, one of Alpha's friends, also harbors romantic feelings for her. This realization gives Jack the courage to finally confess his love.
