Bai Fumei in the ’70s Novel

In the 1970s, a destitute village man, previously unable to afford a bride price and known for his idleness, unexpectedly acquires a wealthy wife from the city. This wife, Zhao Lanxiang, a Bai Fumei, has been reborn. Upon waking, her immediate priority is to find her husband. In their past life, they met late in life, both bearing the scars of hardship and life's trials, finding solace and healing in their twilight years. In this new life, Zhao Lanxiang resolves to give her husband a better start, shielding him from adversity and guiding him towards success.
